Atul Bapat is multi-faceted and a die-hard optimist with many noteworthy professional, corporate and global achievements. He has the passion of making positive difference to organisations and individuals. After working for nearly 25 years with reputed organisations such as Mercedes-Benz India, Bosch Ltd. and SKF Bearings he founded CATS Academy India Pvt. Ltd. in 2008. CATS Academy is a reputed management consulting and corporate training organisation delivering value to a host of companies across India and overseas.

He is on Board of Directors of Buhari Auto Group, Chennai – dealers for Mercedes-Benz, VW and Mahindra vehicles. He also served as Independent Director from 2009 to 2013 on the board of Auto Hangar India, Mumbai – dealers for Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz and Honda cars. He also contributed to MIT School of Business, Pune as their esteemed member of Advisory Board. He is the Global Partner of WorldsView Consulting, South Africa and Persona Global, USA. As a part of his business and while handling various international assignments he travelled across globe.
By qualification, Atul is a mechanical engineer with post-graduation in management. He is a certified coach from Results Coaching System, Australia and International Coach Federation, USA. He is a certified trainer and assessor for ‘C-Management’ – a global initiative of Daimler AG, Germany. He is a certified member of ‘International Sales Management’ and ‘International Dealer Development’ programs by Mercedes-Benz Academy, Germany. He is a certified professional by Society for Human Resource Management, USA. He is certified trainer of IDG, UK.

In his 13 years long tenure with Mercedes-Benz India, he was heading dealer development and training for South Asia. He successfully introduced International Dealer Standards of Daimler AG, Germany in South Asia. He was responsible to spearhead network expansion program in Bosch Ltd. During the past 6-7 years under Atul’s leadership his organisation has helped a number of automotive retailers to streamline the business processes, enhance customer satisfaction and achieve ISO certification. Atul has personally coached more than 30 top corporate executives.
